Refund policy

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we don't generally accept returns or exchanges, unless there is a problem with your order.

However, we are a reasonable bunch - if you change your mind shortly after placing an order with us, let us know as soon as possible (no later than 2 hours after the order is placed) and we'll do our best to amend/cancel the order as needed.

We will, of course, exchange or refund your order if your products are delivered defective or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives, and let us know within 24 hours if there is an issue with it. Send us an email with photographic evidence of the issue being raised.

To start an exchange/refund process, you can contact us at ines@chaosmakescake.co.uk. Depending on the case, we may ask you to return the item to us. If we need you to return the item, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
